Adpdf9 Ppd Mac

Hi Gurus,
I'm currently using datasource 0FI_GL_2 w/c needs to delete all data and reload all the data. When i was looking at LBWE looking for other datasources that has delta management I couldn't seem to find anything related to FI. So is there any other FI Datasource that has delta management & will not require me deleting the data and reloading it again. Thanks in Advance

Extract the ADPDF9.PPD from the downloaded zip file and place it into the PPDs folder created in step 3. Launch InDesign and select Adobe PDF from the PPD list. The options to customize page are now enabled. Oct 28, 2010 Fortunately, there are ways to recover Adobe PDF’s PPD and make it permanently available to CS apps. Here’s the procedure for CS4. Find a copy of ADPDF9.PPD, the PPD file that the latest Acrobat Pro 9 versions remove. You might find it on a backup of your computer at Library Printers PPDs Contents Resources en.lproj. Hello again, as posted recently hv a problem with adobe printer's postscript driver (ppd),In Indesign cs4 It shows ppd is missing while making Print File(.ps), pls suggest how to install ppd again, i tried to install ppd driver downloaded from adobe website, but it fails to install.

    Barry,
    I went throught this link when I firt tried MCOD. may be the mistake I did was that I tired installing two separate instances like Sol Man and XI into the same oracle database. it used to fail at the step of Creating table Spaces.
    I tired this when I saw some docs on MCOD (I think from IBM).
    May be the approach was wrong.
    Let me try this new method of installing two different Oracle instances and put Solution manager on one and XI on the other.
    I will update you some time today.
    Thanks for the help so far.

  • I have an IPod Touch that has been formatted for a Mac. All instructions I have been able to find use ITunes or Device Manager to reformat the device for Windows. This cannot be done if Windows doesn't recognize the device. Is there another way to set the device back to the factory settings directly on the device without using ITunes?

    Ipod touch is not formatted one way or the other at all.
    Just sync it to the new computer using itunes.

  • Hello,
    Recently, I had a task where I needed to install a custom non-signed driver onto my Windows 8 64-bit setup. As it is known, Windows has driver enforcement policies that, as a security measure, do not allow you to install non-signed drivers.
    I did not want to alter my current boot configuration so I decided to create a separate boot entry that would have driver signing policies disabled. For some reason I did not find any good source that would contain a step-by-step instruction on completing
    this task, so I decided that I'd better share my experience here.
    Lastly, there are multiple ways how you could turn off driver enforcement policies, but I find the way to do this via boot manager.
    Here's how you can do that.
    1. Press WindowsKey and type 'cmd' (without quotes) to find Command prompt, then click Command prompt icon. If you have User Account Control turned on, hold Ctrl+Shift keys pressed when clicking the icon.
    This will force Windows to ask you for elevation of command prompt. Elevation is necessary for editing Boot Configuration Database (BCD), the database used by Windows boot manager to store boot settings.
    2. In the User Account Control window click Yes to confirm elevation of command shell.
    3. At the command prompt type
    bcdedit
    to list your BCD entries.
    This will give you an output like:

    identifier {bootmgr}
    device partition=DeviceHarddiskVolume2

    The section that starts with Windows Boot Manager lists current settings for the boot menu. Here you find what boot entry is chosen by default, this is the one what you will boot into if you do not select any boot entry in the
    boot menu.
    The following record
    default {current}
    indicates that by default my Windows boots into configuration which I use at the moment (currently booted Windows configuration).
    To find out what exactly is current configuration, look into the list of boot entries, records that contain boot loader configuration and are titled as Windows Boot Loader in the bcdedit output.
    For example, the entry shown above is one of my boot configurations. This is one of the boot entries listed on the boot manager screen when I start my PC and it looks like:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    device vhd=[D:]win8prowmc01.vhdx

    This record has a unique GUID identifier that can be used to reference this boot entry, which is:
    identifier {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    If we look at the Windows Boot Manager settings, we'll see this entry is the first in order to be displayed in the boot menu on OS start (I marked the unique bits):
    displayorder {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    {a329b5cc-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    It references my VHD drive, a virtual hard drive where my Windwos 8 setup is residing:
    device vhd=[D:]win8prowmc01.vhdx
    And it also specifies that the boot manager must use UEFI BIOS extension code to access my Windows boot partition:
    path EFIMicrosoftBootbootmgfw.efi
    3. Now locate the current boot entry.
    Current boot entry contains boot settings used to boot into Windows configuration to which you are currently booted. It is referenced in the list of boot entries as a Windows Boot Loader record that has the {current} keyword inside and may
    look like:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {current}
    device vhd=[D:]win8rtm.vhdx
    path Windowssystem32winload.efi
    description Windows 8 Enterprise RTM

    Because we are more than happy with current configuration and want to base our new boot configuration on these settings, we need to copy this boot entry ({current}) to a new boot entry.
    This is done by running the following command:
    C:Windowssystem32>bcdedit /copy {current} /d 'No Driver Signature Check'
    Parameter /d here indicates that the following sequence of characters specifies the display name for the new boot entry that we are creating. The name inside the double quotes will be displayed in the boot menu when you boot your Windows.
    In other words, if you know restart your system, you'll see the new No Driver Signature Check in the boot menu.
    When copied, the entry is automatically given a new GUID identifier, so upon running the command above, you'll see the following line returned (you'll have an other GUID since these are unique identifiers):
    The entry was successfully copied to {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}.
    4. Make sure the entry has been successfully created.
    Run the same bcdedit. (You may specify /enum or /v, or both /enum /v parameters at the prompt to get more detail about boot entries, but simple bcdedit is just enough to see the new entry):
    C:Windowssystem32>bcdedit

    The entry has been created and given a unique a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240 ID. It now has exactly same boot settings as the boot entry we used to boot into current configuration of Windows.
    5. Modify created No Driver Signature Check entry and specify that Windows must have driver integrity checks disabled when booted using this boot entry.
    Any modifications to boot entries are made using /set parameter. To indicate that we modify a specific boot entry, we must specify the GUID for the No Driver Signature Check record, which is:
    identifier {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    In other words, to edit (add or change) an option for the boot entry, we need to use the following command syntax:
    C:Windowssystem32>bcdedit /set GUID <boot_option> [<option_value>]
    First, we must specify that we don't want integrity checks be made. This is done by adding the loadoptions option and setting it to DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS value:
    C:Windowssystem32>bcdedit /set {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240} loadopti
    ons DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    The operation completed successfully.
    6. Verify that load option has been added.
    Run the bcdedit command:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {current}
    device vhd=[D:]win8rtm.vhdx
    path Windowssystem32winload.efi
    description Windows 8 Enterprise RTM
    locale en-US

    7. Add the option that turns on test signing mode and disables checks of driver signature.
    Adding the testsigning option and setting it to ON does the trick for us:
    C:Windowssystem32>bcdedit /set {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240} TESTSIGNING ON
    8. Now we have a boot entry that enables Windows not to do integrity checks and digital signature validation.
    We check it by running bcdedit:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    device vhd=[D:]win8rtm.vhdx

    9. Type 'exit' without quotes to exit from command prompt, and restart Windows.
    Upon booting you will be present with a new boot option to start Windows in configuration that allows you to install custom non-signed drivers.
    Hope this will help anybody to create their own custom boot configurations.

  • This will probably be a strange question,
    If you have a server that has mssql and you boot the server into a live windows environment ( loaded into memory on the server much like a live distro of linux.) is there any way to start mssql in that live environment? im guessing here, maybe
    load the hive, copy some things to the live environment?
    this can be done with linux and mysql and any other application/software installed in linux without issue. i was wondering if there was something similar that could be done in a windows live environment.
    thanks for reading.

    Hi anita,
    I’m writing to follow up with you on this post. Was the problem resolved? If not, as other post, you need to explain the detail about your issue about starting SQL Server.
    What is a live windows environment, in addition, we need to verify if you want to start SQL Server Service after installing SQL Server instance in your Windows Operation System.
    Usually, if you start SQL Server service, you can use SQL Server Configuration Manager, SQL Server Management Studio, net commands from a command prompt, Transact-SQL, or PowerShell. There is an article about how to start , stop, pause, resume, or restart
    the Database Engine and so on.

  • This is a noob question, though I do use SQL Server databases all the time with Entity Framework when I code in C# using Visual Studio 2013. The development environment is found below at [A]. I am trying to make a clone of a SQL Server 2008 R2
    database (.mdf) that exists online. I can read, connect and work with this database in Visual Studio 2013, but I wish to make a local copy of the database, as an .MDF file. Somewhere in my notes I have a way of creating a local copy from
    an online database when using Visual Studio but I forgot how (it seems, reviewing my notes, that it deals with ADO.NET which is deprecated in Visual Studio 2013 these days, or so it seems). So I'm looking for another way. What I did was create
    (or export) a 'Data-Tier Application File' from the online SQL Server database, with data, and it seems to have worked in that this
    is the format it seems). It contains skeleton code to create a database, but when I tried to execute it with SQL Server 2014 Management Studio, I got a bunch of errors.
    So my question is:
    1) Can I somehow create a .MDF SQL Server Database from an - I mean the SQL Server database file is on a remote web server that I rent from, but I am not the administrator of. I can access my database using SQL Server Authentication, but nothing more.
    Paul
    What do you mean by too general? It explains on how you can use data tier application to create and deploy databases
    May be this will help you to understand better

  • I'm moving an internal hard drive from an old computer to a new computer. (My new compute runs Windows 8.1) How do I transfer the catalog data to my new computer so the Organizer of Photoshop Elements 6 will find the data on the hard that has been moved to the new computer? Is this possible or do I have to use the procedure of copying the catalog along with the photos to a back up hard drive and then restore them on the new computer?

    The 'normal' procedure is to do a PSE organizer backup (not a copy or a backup from external tools) to an external drive, then a restore to the new location.
    The advantage is that you have a backup of both catalog and media files and you don't have all disconnected files, which would happen with external backup tools. Also, if you restore with a more recent elements version, the catalog will be automatically updated to the new format.
    The drawback in your situation is that you'll have either to overwrite all your files or restore to a custom location, creating a duplicate photo library (which supposes you have enough free space).
    It would be possible to simply use the organizer in the old PC to move the catalog to a new 'custom' folder just under your C: root drive. The catalog would be accessible once the drive will be installed in the new PC. Then you would have all files 'disconnected' due to the fact that all your media files are now on a drive with a different letter. Reconnecting a whole library is a hard job with PSE6, less so with PSE11/PSE12.
    If the idea of fiddling with the sqlite database with external sqlite manager tools is ok for you, I can describe the process more in detail. You only copy your catalog folder (as suggested above) to another location. Instead of trying the 'reconnection' way, you install the sqlite utility on the new computer. When the old drive is installed in the new computer, you simply edit a given record in the catalog database, catalog.psedb, and start the organizer with your copied catalog by simply double clicking the 'catalog.psedb' file.
    Even if the last solution is much, much quicker, I would still create a new PSE backup : you have never too much safety .

  • Help?
    I got the new Verizon Ipad a few weeks ago and just now attempted to activate the 4g service. The first few attempts resulted in an error message related to my SIM card (something to the effect that it had already been in use or something). After calling Verizon and taking the card out, running through a script, and putting it back in, we eventually got it to the point where we could connect to the 4G service and that specific SIM card error message went away. However, now I am getting this error: 'Your iPad is already active on a subscription plan that cannot be managed on this device'. I called and talked to another rep who said they are experiencing this issue with a number of Ipads and she was submitting a ticket for me to get the error 'cleared out'. She said it could take a week?
    When I go in and click 'View Account' I either get this error message above or I get a brand new registration window to start all over again. Then immediately the 'LTE' goes away in the upper left, it starts searching again, eventually finds the signal, and I get a popup saying 'cellular data plan has been activated' or something to that effect. Then I am good to go.
    Anyone dealing with this and have it cleared up? They are acting like its something in their system that will just go away on its on but I don't buy it. I am getting the service so I am just trying to get the 'view account' functionality to work. Thanks all.

    I had the same problem activating. I had gotten one error message when trying to activate. I didn't write the phone number down. I tried 'View Account' again and then it started giving the error about the SIM card already being set up on an account. When I called that Verizon number the guy said I would need to go to a VZW store and get a new SIM card, but he did see the account in their system.
    A while later I decided to just restart the iPad and I started getting the original message that just said it couldn't activate right now and to try again later. It provided a different phone number, which is the Verizon mobile broadband support number. When I called it the lady knew exactly what to do. She said the payment to the credit card hadn't gone through and she would have to push it through manually (this sometimes happens with certain credit cards when they see new online cellular service). She had me go to settings / reset / and to reprovision the account and reboot while she did some things on her side. When it came back up it was able to activate and the LTE even showed up. I also checked my credit card online and it only showed the $20 charge (for 1 GB Plan).
    However, as you stated, when I go to 'View Account' it says that the iPad is already active on a subscription that cannot be managed on this device and gives the mobile broadband support number. I will wait a few days and see if it clears up on its own, but at least the data is working.

    I recommend to use the custom workflow activity Copy List Item Extended Activityto

    Codeplex Custom SharePoint Designer Workflow Activities.
    These activities are also built-in to SPD2010.
    To install the custom activities, please follow the steps as below:
    Download the solution file form
    Useful Sharepoint Designer Custom Workflow Activities
    Copy the wps file to the Disk C.
    Open the SharePoint 2010 Management Shell.
    Run the command: add spsolution c: dp.sharepoint.workflow.wsp
    Open the Center Administration, click System Setting->Manage Farm Solution-> dp.sharepoint.workflow.wsp->Deploy to one or more Web Application.
    Open the SharePoint designer, add action from Custom Actions.

  • Hello ,
    *We cannot load data to PSA (BW 7.0) with extractor 2LIS_02_ITM.*
    (Some changes might have occurred in R/3 due to a full SAP solution loaded. But theses changes should not have impacted BW).
    We launch the data package : We receive the message
    DataSource 2LIS_02_ITM has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text)
    Message no. R3016
    Diagnosis
    DataSource 2LIS_02_ITM does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
    The time stamp in the source system is 25.08.2008 16:16:10.
    The time stamp in the BW system is 08.11.2007 14:27:56.
    System Response
    The load process has been terminated.
    Procedure
    Copy the DataSource again and then activate the transfer rules that belong to it. You have to activate the transfer rules in every case, even if they are still active after the DataSource has been copied.
    We did the following actions :
    1) Replicate data source
    2) We tried to activate the data source (modify, activate) :
    We get an error message :
    Inconsistent user object 2LIS_02_ITM V47_020 for PSA 2LIS_02_ITM_BA
    Message no. RSAODS251
    3) We launched program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL for this data source. It went ok.
    But still, we have the same error when we launch infopackage again.
    - How could we investigate ?
    - What can be done ?
    - Do you know where to see the time stamp of data source on BW side ?
    Thanks a lot for your help.
    Françoise

    Hello,
    The change done in extractor 25.08.2008 :
    after receiving update from the SAP business solution, this date was 20.08.2008.
    to try to solve our problem, we reactivated the data source 2LIS_02_ITM in source system R/3 on 25.08.2008
    you should delete all PSA table, not only last request :
    does it mean we should delete (and not empty) PSA table with transaction SE14 ?
    Then how do we recreate again PSA table ?

  • A have new problem that has appeared in my Mac Mail. When I type a frequently used email into the 'To: line' it populates the correct name but with 8 different email addresses not associated with that name. I have gone to the window pop-down to 'previous recipients' and deleted that addressee as well as all the email addresses it is assigning to that name. I have also deleted the account entirely from my address book. I have have run repair permissions and also full defrag in iDefrag. Still the problem persists. Any suggestions?

    Hello CarolineLongEaton,
    I noticed you posted this problem quite a while ago and wondered if you managed to have it fixed in an alternative way then posting here. It is too bad no one has posted a solution here. I have a similar problem and if you have had yours solved since this occurance how you accomplished it may help me with mine. I am interested to know what you have done about yours.
    If you are interested in comparing the problems to see if your solution (if you have found one) might help me also then here is the link to the discussion.

    If your problem has not been solved then I will comment here again if/when my issue is resolved as it may help you too. My hope here is that we may help each other. To quote you 'all ideas gratefuly recieved'. I hope your problem was resolved, ernestly for your sake and selfishly for mine also. I wish you and yours a great day!

  • Has anyone managed to get Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 for Mac to deploy with any level of reliability through tools such as Apple Remote Desktop?
    The main CS3 apps are 'better', if still kludgy to deploy somewhat silently, but every time I've tried to get Acrobat Pro 9.0 to deploy, it steadfastly refuses to do so without demanding admin access on at least the first launch, and insisting on running the Updater in the process, which is completely unacceptable.
    I should say that I've looked at their Adobe Acrobat deployment site (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/solutions/it/), and it's entirely useless for the Mac version.
    Why do Adobe make this so hard?

    Okay, I think I've figured this out.
    * On a clean machine (ie: no Adobe software), install Adobe Acrobat Pro
    * Run Acrobat. Insert license code. Allow it to 'selfheal'. Quit.
    * Run Distiller. Allow it to 'selfheal'. Quit.
    * Edit AcroEFGPro90.plist and AcroEFGDist90.plist which can be found in Contents > MacOS within the Acrobat and Distiller apps respectively.
    * Change the 'Requires' tags from 'YES' to 'NO' for all the file resources.
    * Copy these to plist files into /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/ and overwrite the ones that are already there.
    * Run Acrobat and Distiller again. Allow 'selfheal' if prompted. Quit.
    * Run again. Quit.
    * Build a Mac OS X installer package of the following:
    /Applications/Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0
    /Applications/Utilites/Adobe Utilities
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
    /Library/Application Support/FLEXnet*
    /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.*
    /Library/Preferences/FLEXnet*
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins/AdobePDFViewer.plugin
    /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/
    /Library/Printers/PPD Plugins/Adobe*
    /Library/Printers/PPDs/.../.../.../ADPDF9.PPD (one per language)
    /Users/Shared/Adobe
    /usr/libexec/cups/backend/pdf900
    * After you've built the package, go through the Acrobat application bundle and find cupshup.pl. Copy it into the Resources folder of the installer package, and rename it to 'postflight' (this gets the installer to configure the PDF printer).
    * Distribute through ARD.
    * Grab com.adobe.* from ~/Library/Preferences
    * Distribute the com.adobe.* files to all users; the .plist files can be done through Workgroup Manager, however com.adobe.118.registration must be copied as-is into the user folder, rather than being injected via MCX or the defaults command or any other method, as it's not a plist.
    Dear Adobe,
    MAKE THIS SIMPLER.
    Your Friend,
    etc...

  • Hi
    I am new with the abode software. I have the creative cloub. However, I am not website designer. So, I would like to find something that I can work with that has some support to it. I know a little about building websites, but not much. I would like to find something that is already set up for the bootstrap or responsive time templates. Can anyone help direct me?

    Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the 'Update to 10' advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

  • Hi Guys
    I'm setting up a Master / Slave (Parent / Child) dtsx environment but I'm unable to work out how to dynamically set a variable in the Master dtsx from a connection string that has had its value set by a config file. I'm sure it's possible.
    Below is the what I'm hoping to achieve. I've set up everything apart from the highlighted section.
    Any ideas?

    First, what version of SQL Server are you using?
    You could switch the problem around. You could set the value of a variable from the config file, then it is easy to use that variable as the connection string source for your connection manager. At the same time you can use a parent variable
    configuration to map that variable to variables in your child package.

Adpdf9 Ppd Mac And Cheese

Lots of people are complaining about the lack of printer drivers for Mac OS X.
Well, look no more!
Several manufactures provide 'ppd', or 'Postscript Printer Description' files for free.
A ppd file provides a generic description of how a printer works. While the functionality is rather limited, it will allow you to get your work done
1) Download the ppd file for your printer. Either search the company's web site, OR:
go to this web site:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/driver_list.cgi
select your printer model (I will use epl2120 for my example), and scroll down to the 'PPD-O-Matic' section.
Select the printer again from the pull down menu, and press 'Generate PPD file'
2) Save the file somewhere on your computer - /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/en.lproj
is the default location for English ppd files, but you can just put them in your home directory and select it later.
3) Open up the 'Print Center', which is located in:
/Applications/Utilities/
4) Select 'Add Printer...' from the 'Printers' menu.
5) Either select 'Apple Talk' or 'LPR Printers using IP'.
6) From the 'Printer Model:' pop-up menu, select 'Other...'.
7) Navigate to the ppd file you downloaded.
Va la!
